Home Movie Editing

My name is Paul Cackett, and this is my site - Home Movie Editing - dedicated to filming and editing home movies and sharing your creations.

I started editing my own home movies back in 2004. After tackling the problem of converting my old Video8 tapes to DVD, I started a semi-professional service doing the same for other people, digitising Video8, Hi8, VHS and MiniDV films to personalised DVD discs.

Many people who now have digital camcorders would tell me "I wish I could edit my videos myself" - and this is the inspiration for this site - to share a bit of what I've learnt!
